Founded in 2006, CONTEMPO DESIGN is a bespoke, multi-disciplinary building design and drafting firm based in Perth, Australia. Since its inception, the firm’s guiding principals have been deeply rooted in the human experience of spaces and how spaces are brought to life and made complete by those who use them. By carefully considering the experiential as well as the functional needs of each client, spaces become more than just fit for purpose. At every scale and condition, CONTEMPO DESIGN is dedicated to creating uniquely beautiful and inspiring building designs that precisely suit their function.

The firm’s broad and varied experience in commercial and residential design allows for difficult problem solving and ensures structurally efficient, cost effective, and practical design solutions. From renovations, new homes, land subdivision, grouped dwelling developments, retail and commercial buildings and fit-outs, we'll guide you every step of the way and help get you started.

Design & Documentation

We use the latest 3D BIM design software which gives our clients the opportunity to view their design in 3D. This makes the design process a lot more engaging and easier to understand, allowing clients to be more decisive and confident with their choices. We also handle everything required before and after the design phase and provide you all the documentation to get you to the next stage.

Certifications & Approvals

Almost every project requires other initial assessments and certifications such as site reports, engineering, energy efficiency, and health and safety in order to get local government approvals. In some cases the project will also require post construction certificates and inspections to ensure the project satisfies all structural requirements and Australian standards. Unlike most other businesses, Contempo Design can take away this headache by organising and obtaining everything required for your project.

3D Modelling & Presentation

Need something more creative? Contempo Design can produce all your presentation and design work to suit concept proposals, promotions, and tenders. We do everything from computer 3D models, 3D fly thoughts animations, photo realistic 3D renders, 3D printed models, hand made models, presentation posters and documents.
